A Poem For My Father

by Eric Anthony Crew

They say nothing but time can ease the pain,
Removed like a dirt, unwashed by the rain,

For Love; it is endless and never a game,
Never to be something that you can tame.

When the two become one, that much is clear,
No matter how far; are still very near,

Whatever comes next will often bring fear,
But hearts that are opened have “ears which can hear”,

“Energy is boundless,” again what they say,
That we all return back to this “world” in some way,

In memory think not of what happened today,
Letting go of the anger and let the love stay.

“Til We Meet Again”
