“The Oddities of CERN” is the  about all of the strange events surrounding the LHC’s rise to power. From attempting to recreate the Big Bang by creating mini-black holes on the infamous December 21, 2012 date to a showdown with certain Maya spiritual leaders, all the way up to today’s attempting to contact another parallel universe. The Large Hadron Collider has had its work cut out for it, and is exceeding expectations at every obstacle.


As if the fact that CERN planned on completing one of their definitive tests for the God Particle on December 21, 2012 wasn’t strange enough, lets take a look at each of the strange events that lead up to this date before continuing to the latest, possibly life altering news that has developed.

I will first start with the wisdom and concerns of the Maya Spiritual Leader Ac Tah:

“Both the Hopis and Mayans perceive that we are approaching the End of a World Age in 2012.  In both cases, however, the Hopi and Mayan elders do not prophesy that everything will come to an end –rather, this is a time of
transition from one World Age into another.

“The years since 1992, up to 2012, are ones of big changes in the planet’s vibration, and ours as well,” says Ac Tah.

“Our ancestors calculated one Baktun (20 years) of the energetic instability, where the energy of Earth and the human body would grow slowly, but at the same time, in a very fast way.”

The solar wind has a lot to do with it. The solar winds come in at the Earth’s North and South poles creating the aurora borealis, also known as geomagnetic storms. The Mayans see even more Sun activity up to and after 2012, which will change the electromagnetic field of the Earth. And when this changes, we change too.”

“Already there’s more consciousness to care for the Earth, animals and other human beings,” says Ac Tah. “There’s talk of energies coming in that changes us. Some people can control it, but many don’t know what to do with this energy – it can lead to being diagnosed with a mental imbalance.  We can expect more intensity in 2011, so get ready. It’s time, he says, to purify the body from toxins and negative emotions.”


 As Ac Tah began to look into the consciousness imprisonment aspect of those in control over world affairs, he became extremely troubled to discover the ]the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva was meant to recreate the moment of the “Big Bang”. Perhaps most unsettling of all was that it’s definitive experiment was supposed to be on the infamous date December 21, 2012; a date with enormous significance to his people.

Remember: "Days numbered 13 are high-energy days and also time to end projects in a frantic final burst. (December 21, 2012 is the 13th day of the Maya calendar system)."

Aside from the many fears (some founded, most not) toward CERN’s undertaking of the 2012 mission to “discover the God Particle”, the scientists admitted that they simply didn’t know what would happen or how this would play out. Would it create a black hole on the same day that civilization was supposed to die off in a massive blockbuster movie setting or would it show us the elusive particle that would supposedly answer our questions about the Big Bang?

At the original time of writing this, evidence proving CERN was actually conducting experiments on the 2012 date was inconclusive, as the only site that discussed this was from the LHC’s own website admission which stated the following:

However, if we click on the “Timetable” on the Menu to the left, we are taken to the three days and it details every action on the 19th and the 20th and yet on the 21st a curious thing happens; nothing is mentioned but the time table they will be conducting “tests” or experiments.

The time they are using will be ending at 11:00 (remember how the exact alignment on this date was said to begin at 11:11 GMT).

Here is the details of the agenda for the 21st according to LHC’s website:

Whether or not these scientists actually discovered Higgs Boson on that date remains up for debate, but what happened next was revealing that something big may have actually happened with the Large Hadron Collider in addition to discovering the “God Particle”.

The CERN project was shut down just before December 21, 2012 and then an even more curious event happened, despite having supposedly needed to close, they announced “a milestone” discovery and was soon awarded a seat at the United Nations.


A break-down of some of the very real concerns and oddities about this ongoing experiment:


  • Recreating the moment of the Big Bang has unknown consequences.
  • Strangelets and the construction of strange matter destroying our planet within seconds (still a fear by many scientists to this day).
  • Creating a micro black-hole capable of imploding the Earth.
  • The very real fear of generating enough energy equivalent to several thermonuclear explosions.
  • Outside of the CERN building is a 13-foot bronze statue of Shiva the world destroyer


    Shiva is said to destroy each world in order to recreate a new one in an endless “cycle” of chaos, creation, and destruction. As if having a statue devoted to the Hindu God weren’t enough, CERN actually allowed an dance-opera to film a strange preview of its show inside the CERN laboratory and debut it on VIMEO.

    The title of the movie and show is called “Symmetry“, but many people have called it CERN’s Shiva Dance of Destruction film.

    This film is incredible, I highly suggest watching as it is both visually and emotionally stunning.

    The accompanied documentary ’Symmetry Unravelled’ by Juliette Stevens, shows what the ideas are behind the project and brings forth physicists and artists sharing their perspective on each other’s discipline.



Whether or not CERN was targeting South America remains unknown as there is not enough concrete evidence to support Ac Tah’s entire theory, however his video testimony below is compelling and interesting enough to watch.

Here is Ac Tah’s description of what will happen come December 21, 2012 (including his accounts of CERN and their intentions).


“The Maya were aware that time is infinite and could be counted to infinity, however they left us a calendar up to the year 2012 to leave it to our generation to commence a new count, in the light of a new spiritual awareness.”” Ac Tah




Both CERN and its website have been publicly shut down on December 19, 2012, offering only that they have made a “milestone discovery”, interestingly enough. Immediately people began questioning; did they discover the God particle?

Did they make contact with something as many people have postulated? Or were the experiments simply too  dangerous and needed to be shut down?

One thing is for sure; the guys at CERN have a messed up sense of humor.

First Shiva, now a seemingly obscure, “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” reference, but in context of the upcoming power date (December 21, 2012) and it’s impending “countdown”; we are left to wonder if these guys are trying to help spread the fear or if they just have a weird sense of humor with poor timing?

The final beam of the three-year proton run at the LHC is dumped, with the phrase “So long and thanks for all the fish” from the control team.

This morning CERN teams brought the first proton run at the Large Hadron Collider to and end with the message, “So long and thanks for all the fish,” – a phrase made famous by British writer Douglas Adams in his Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series. The remarkable first three-year run of the world’s most powerful particle accelerator was crowned by a new performance milestone. The space between proton bunches in the beams was halved to further increase beam intensity and the accelerator’s luminosity.

“So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish is the fourth book of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy “series” written by Douglas Adams. Its title is the message left by the dolphins when they departed Planet Earth just before it was demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass, as described in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.”

Or, was this a double entendre meant to say “so long” to the Age of Pisces? It is unfortunately not very well known yet that the Age of Pisces actually ended on December 21, 2012 _ as I explain in my next article, “The Age of Aquarius &  The Precessional Consciousness”. But one would have to take into consideration that these men and women know science and astronomy (as well as science fiction references), so my guess would be this is intentional double-talk to suggest that they were both pulling our leg about 2012’s doomsday theories and also paying a strange homage to the end of an aeon. Even after three years, questions persist.


Interesting to Note: The similarity of the CERN LHC structuring and the mayan glyph for the “Galactic Tree” or 8 point crossing of the Earth’s equator, the Galactic Equator, and the Sun’s ecliptic or apparent path along its revolution of the center of the Galaxy.



The Higgs Boson particle was finally confirmed (and the deserving scientists responsible received the Nobel award), much to the amazement and delight of scientists and physicists everywhere (least of all Professor Higgs, himself). But where is this discovery leading us and more importantly, what did uncovering it truly mean to humanity?

Some believe that when the scientists at CERN discovered the God Particle they were contacted by beings from either outer-space or from newly accessed parallel dimensions.

All science fiction novel theme aside; is there any credence to any of these theories and what would that mean for our future?

First let’s listen to an explanation of what a Higgs boson particle is, as well as why it matters so much that we found it.


Inferring to the level of importance such a discovery means to the world, shortly after revealing the discovery of the Higgs Boson particle, CERN was given a permanent seat at the UN.  Just after the 21s of December 2012, the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York granted CERN permanent Observer status, the only science organization to acquire this prestigious status.

This should be enough to show the importance of this discovery, both to the realm of quantum physics and to the world at large. But what does the LHC scientist’s observer position mean?

“CERN already engages in a several relations with the United Nations and several of its agencies. The presence of CERN, an intergovernmental organization, as a permanent Observer at the UN General Assembly is a natural step forward. “Our presence at the Assembly was felt to be so natural by everybody that the Organization’s sign and seat were prepared before the formal adoption by the General Assembly and were made available as soon as the positive vote actually took place,” says Maurizio Bona.

The UN and its agencies are involved, in different ways, in many fields of science, technology and innovation, as well as in education. With the recently updated and more effective institutional relationships, CERN hopes to strengthen and broaden its contribution to various ongoing UN initiatives. As an example, in the coming months CERN is planning to contribute to the implementation of ECOSOC’s 2013 theme, “science, technology and innovation, and the potential of culture, for promoting sustainable development and achieving the Millennium development goals”.

“Several of the United Nation’s initiatives are happening in areas where CERN has no Member States,” says Maurizio Bona. He concludes: “The seat at the UN Assembly is not a static throne but a privileged position that will open new doors for us to reach a wider audience and raise awareness about the scientific world and its positive influence on society in a more global community.”



Speaking about the United Nations, if they were preparing the world for more life-changing discoveries, either related to the discoveries at CERN or otherwise; we would expect to see evidence of their plans in the years surrounding this discovery.

Not to disappoint, in late 2011 the UN created a new ambassador title; the very first “Space Ambassador” just in case we suddenly make contact with peaceful beings. Sound crazy? Not to the UN.

“The continued search for extraterrestrial communication…sustains the hope that someday humankind will receive signals from extraterrestrials,”  The Australian quoted Othman as saying. “When we do, we should have in place a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject. The U.N. is a ready-made mechanism for such coordination.”

The publication also quoted Professor Richard Crowther, a specialist in space law and governance at the U.K. Space Agency, on Othman’s suitability for the job: she “is absolutely the nearest thing we have to a ‘take me to your leader’ person.” – Source



Although the seat for The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs  seems to have been a natural, albeit preemptive move, we also have the odd case of the current Pope Francis and his seemingly out of place statement of wanting to baptize an alien baby.

He said Catholicism was a church of “open doors”, and that it was up to Christians to accept the Holy Spirit however “unthinkable” and “unimaginable” it appeared.

Describing how, according to the Bible, Peter was criticized by the Christians of Jerusalem for making contact with a community of “unclean” pagans, Francis said that at the time that too was “unthinkable”.

“If, for example, tomorrow an expedition of Martians came to us here and one said ‘I want to be baptized!’, what would happen?”- Source

Some people suggest these statements were made simply to show his radical sweep toward a newly promoted acceptance at the church, whatever the intention the statements left more people confused than not, and left the topic wide open for debate.


The LHC consists of a 27-kilometre ring of superconducting magnets with a number of accelerating structures to boost the energy of the particles along the way. Inside the accelerator, two high-energy particle beams travel at close to the speed of light before they are made to collide. The beams travel in opposite directions in separate beam pipes – two tubes kept at ultrahigh vacuum. They are guided around the accelerator ring by a strong magnetic field maintained by superconducting electromagnets. The electromagnets are built from coils of special electric cable that operates in a superconducting state, efficiently conducting electricity without resistance or loss of energy. This requires chilling the magnets to ‑271.3°C – a temperature colder than outer space. For this reason, much of the accelerator is connected to a distribution system of liquid helium, which cools the magnets, as well as to other supply services.


The science community seems in a rare agreement, that this is a big moment for all mankind and a huge leap forward in understanding the cosmos. But many are still cautioning that this could be just the beginning.

Dr Roberto Trotta, Lecturer in Cosmology at Imperial College London, has this to say, according to the Science Media Centre.

This could be just the first step towards uncovering a completely new layer of reality – the Higgs might lead to the discovery of supersymmetry: the notion that for every known particle there exist a super-particle with a much larger mass.

And if supersymmetry is real, then we are on our way to finally crack the mystery of the dark matter in the Universe. Dark matter might be ‘the last Highlander’ of all supersymmetric particles, the only surviving ‘sparticle’ from the Big Bang. And we might be on the verge of hunting it down at the LHC.

Professor John Womersley, STFC Chief Executive, said:

“Obviously having found a new particle, there is still much, much more to do at the LHC – we need to confirm that this new particle is the reason some particles have tangible mass while others are insubstantial – as proposed by Peter Higgs and other scientists, who predicted that a previously unknown particle must exist for our current understanding of the Universe to work.”


“If dark matter does exist, it was produced at the time of the Big Bang (like all other matter). For scientists to figure out what kind of matter was produced at the big bang, they try to create conditions like that of the Big Bang. The closest we an get to replicating those conditions is at the point where protons collide inside the LHC. And the faster they can make protons collide, the closer they are to mimicking the temperature of the Big Bang.

Why does the LHC need so much more energy for its new set of experiments?

“It all comes down to E = mc2,” said physicist Josh Thompson, speaking with the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation last year. The “E” in Einstein’s equation, of course, stands for “energy“ — the LHC has previously run at 8 TeV (tera electron Volts). After this upgrade, the LHC’s “E” will be 62 percent greater at 13 TeV.

When we get more ‘E’ we can hopefully get more ‘m’ [mass] stuff coming out,” continued Thompson, pointing out that the increased energy will allow not only more mass but also heavier particles — the kind of particles that may prove the existence of dark matter.

Astrophysicists tell us that the matter we can detectgalaxies, stars, planets, comets, people, cosmic dustcomprise only 5% of the universe. The other 95% consists of dark energy (about 70%) and dark matter. We know essentially nothing about dark matter, except that physics and math indicate it must exist — just as scientists though the Higgs boson particle must exist, though it hadn’t been detected before 2012.

“Dark matter is a real problem in physics today. It’s one of the big puzzles,” CERN physicist Dave Charlton told the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation this month.

We don’t understand what 95% of the universe is made of. We know from astronomical observations that there is dark matter in the universe – probably five times as much as the normal everyday matter that we can see. So what is it? We don’t know. One very good possibility is the theory of supersymmetry, which predicts that dark matter is due to particles that we should be able produce at the LHC.” – SOURCE




CERN plans on leaking gravity into newly discovered parallel universes in hopes of making contact; or did they already?

One Possibility is that CERN could have discovered parallel universes and the gateway to these dimensions, according to a new paper published in the physics journal, Modern Physics Letters B.

In a new paper published in Physics Letters B, Ahmed Farag Ali, Mir Faizal, and Mohammed M. Khalil explain that the key to finding  may come from detecting miniature black holes at a certain energy level. The detection of the mini black holes would indicate the existence of extra dimensions, which would support string theory and related models that predict the existence of extra dimensions as well as parallel universes.

“Normally, when people think of the multiverse, they think of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, where every possibility is actualized,” Faizal told “This cannot be tested and so it is philosophy and not science. This is not what we mean by parallel universes. What we mean is real universes in extra dimensions. As  can flow out of our universe into the extra dimensions, such a model can be tested by the detection of mini black holes at the LHC. We have calculated the energy at which we expect to detect these mini black holes in gravity’s rainbow [a new theory]. If we do detect mini black holes at this energy, then we will know that both gravity’s rainbow and extra dimensions are correct. –  Source



Much like the statements of the LHC when I first began this article over three years ago, CERN’s Large Hadron Collider is scheduled for final completion on its projects later this year (2015).

The internationally renowned project has captured the imaginations of the world over. Yet, the fears appear to be just as prevalent now as they ever were, and according to many; just as real.

Speculations of the intentions of these experiments now range from more plausible explanations such as author William Henry‘s theory that CERN is opening wormholes, to more outrageous ones like that of opening a portal into hell itself.

The collider’s power has been more than doubled now, and it will have many times more power than any other comparable facility in the world, and with that power comes many other unknown potentials toward an infinite number of unknowns.

A top official at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) says that the titanic machine may possibly create or discover previously unimagined scientific phenomena, or “unknown unknowns” – for instance “an extra dimension”.

“Out of this door might come something, or we might send something through it,” said Sergio Bertolucci, who is Director for Research and Scientific Computing at CERN, briefing reporters including the Reg at CERN HQ earlier this week. – SOURCE


If CERN is successful in making contact with alternate realms, we would open the Pandora’s Box of realities, some of which could be so far from our scope and imagination that it begs the curious mind to continue paying attention to what comes next.

Part of the discovery or in its vast possible revelations, could also help confirm or once another well respected theory, or help put it to rest; the idea of a “Big Bang” that started the Universe. If recent discoveries in quantum physics are any indication, time is an ever-flowing part of creation itself, and not a byproduct of the moment of creation.

But we can only wait it out and see, perhaps with a renewed interest in concepts we thought were only possible in the realm of science fiction. Life has shown us that it is both miraculous and continuous, as has our evolving consciousness that attempts to explain it all.

Who is to say what, if any, limits there are of our understanding; that our consciousness may continue to ascend through the generations and years of experiments so that we may someday be even a fraction more aware of how it is our Universe actually works, and perhaps even greater; what it all means.
